Aftercare Recommendations
laser Tattoo Removal Aftercare Instructions
Proper aftercare is essential for healing and achieving the best possible results following your laser tattoo removal session. Please follow these guidelines carefully:
- Keep the treated area clean, dry, and protected for the first 24 hours. After that, gently wash with mild soap and water.
- Apply a thin layer of healing ointment (such as Aquaphor or Neosporin) and cover with a clean, sterile dressing for the first several days.
- Avoid direct sun exposure for at least two weeks. If sun exposure cannot be avoided, apply a broad-spectrum sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher once the area has healed.
- Allow any scabbing or blistering to heal naturally. Do not scratch, pick, or peel the treated skin.
- Avoid strenuous exercise or activities that cause excessive sweating for 24–48 hours after treatment.
- Refrain from swimming, hot tubs, or sauna use for at least one week following your session.
- Wear loose, breathable clothing over the treated area to reduce friction and irritation.
- If redness, swelling, or discomfort persists or worsens, please contact us for further guidance.
